Hello everyone. I’m glad you could join us on this fantastic day. I thought today I would show you how to make a nice cheerful sun to live with the clouds we made in the last tutorial.

Step 1:
Let’s start with our standard 600px by 600px Illustrator canvas. Like I said last time, you can really set your canvas to whatever size you like; but if you use a different sized canvas, the numbers I use throughout the day may not work as well for you as they do for me.

A little something about my favourite pet shop at Ebay.co uk

Catsopolis is one of my favourite places check up on cat toys, bowls and such. Not only is their inventory large, but they also have great prices to show for.

When I first started my own webshop in Norway with cat items 99,9% of *my* inventory came from Catsopolis. I don’t know if that means Catsopolis is cheap or Norway expensive, but they’re good prices all the same in my book.

I frequently buy new things from Catsopolis when my stock runs low. She sells Trixie-items, and I have yet to find any Norwegian suppliers for it. Well, I’ve found one, but they’ve got ridiculous prices. Buying from Catsopolis and importing it to Norway has proven itself to be more profitable. Go figure…

Shipping is rarely a problem with her as she calls around the various courier-companies to get a good price on shipping. She sent me two LARGE parcels so heavy I couldn’t lift them myself. It cost me about £100-200 GBP and I still think I got it as a good bargain.

When we are working on a web design project, we quite often need icons to show commands like add, delete, or edit. With the Web 2.0 trend, the use of badges and subtle 3D has become very popular. In this tutorial I will show you how to create a really easy and very nice 3D effect to be used in either buttons and icons or elements that need some depth.
